Top Multi-strategy Hedge Fund Group is now seeking a deputy general counsel to compliment a legal & compliance team covering Asia-Pacific out of an expanding Hong Kong Office. This fast paced role will be looking at a wide variety of transaction needs like private placements, venture capital, private equity, hybrid securities, credit and other OTC derivatives, M&A, securitization , plus other complimentary future opportunities. The legal & compliance team will grow to 6-8 within the year. This role is best matched with a US/ UK licensed lawyer with 3-4 years of experience in a large global law firm. English language skills are primary, with local language skills only complimentary. Any hedge fund exposure would be a very beneficial fit.
