Top Multi-Billion AUM Hedge Fund Group is now seeking a very solid bilingual general counsel to compliment a legal & compliance team covering both Japan and Asia-Pacific of cross-border deal flow. Most concentration will be based on Tokyo deals but may also include transactions based across the entire region including Hong Kong, Singapore and Sydney primary. This fast paced role will be looking at a wide variety of transaction needs like private placements, venture capital, private equity, hybrid securities, credit and other OTC derivatives, M&A, securitization , plus other complimentary future opportunities. This role is best matched with a US/ UK/ AUS/ NZ licensed lawyer with 3+ years of experience in a large global law firm. English language skills are primary, with local language skills will be positive. Any hedge fund exposure would be a very beneficial fit.
