Leading European investment bank with major Asian market presence is now looking to add JAVA developers to their algorithmic trading system team in Hong Kong. You should have solid computer science or engineering education with strong quantitative abilities. Some knowledge of financial markets and trading would be preferred. Best candidate will have been working with JAVA for three years (not JAVA web technologies) and experience-developing multi threaded applications in swing. Your excellent problem solving abilities and exposure to functional programming language like LISP, PROLOG, SCHEME or JESS, will be highly desired. Preference will be given to those who have trading or equity market experience but it is not considered critical.
