Any trader with direct experience of running us$1bn notional or more in any combination of straight Japanese government bonds or related options would be enough for consideration. A strong interest in trying to fully maximize the coming debt volatility and cross-market trades based on rising Japanese yen rate impacts is mission critical. As the market over a 6 year period has been poor, basic returns covering major notional JGB size books would be acceptable. Target returns of 8-15% would be expected as a minimum with the risk management understanding that those numbers demand.
