5+ year L/S fund w/ focus on Japan & Asian equities seeks analyst to work with founding fund manager to cover Chinese equity market. Fundamental analyst who is already heavily involved inChina, Taiwan & Hong Kong markets ideal. Person who can systematically & deeply cover a range of sectors & who understands Chinese equity valuations a must. Visits to manufacturing firms, financials & even government entities expected. Network across the region helpful, and Chinese language skills a must.English required. This role will be based in Tokyo to sit closely with fund manager & travel as needed to mainland etc. Those based in Taiwan, HK or US with this experience & language are of interest. Fund will relocate, offers eventual risk taking role & pays on performance.
