Top hedge fund now looking for a large cap hedge fund analyst for Japan to join the expanding Japan trading team. This will be a multi-sector large cap Tokyo based role.Pairs trades, long/shorts, events and other fast-moving trading mindset is best though longer term views (12-18 month) are allowed. Quick thinking, flexible, dynamic thinker who can proactively find ideas & communicate them efficiently is needed. Wide range of analytical skills are a must & 7+ years experience as an analyst needed. CMA / CFA or other degree useful. Japanese fluency required, English helpful. Credit analysts, deep-value (consulting, PE) or other complimentary background of interest.Fund is multi-strategy & offers top compensation w/ flexible, independent role.
