Top Global firm is now looking for an experienced HEDGE FUND EQUITY SALES PERSON who wishes to take an active role with in its JAPAN HEDGE FUND SALES team. This very challenging role will service large lot client needs within the Japanese Cash Equity market. The best fit candidate will be BILINGUAL, familiar with hedge fund trading needs and strategies (LONG/SHORT, EVENT DRIVEN, CB ARB + Variants), position keeping expertise, and counterparty management. Hedge Fund contacts or direct dealing experience of 2 or more years within either equity cash sales or sales/trading is the first priority. Candidates with a thorough understanding of the market and good current trade ideas will be shortlisted. Japanese language ability is a bonus.
