Our client is now looking for a LEGAL COUNSEL for JAPAN. This very challenging role will cover all branch product areas. This follows on the expansion of INVESTMENT BANKING areas that primarily cover Derivatives Products, Securitization, M&A and Private Equity. The role will be based in Tokyo and REQUIRE JAPANESE LANGUAGE SKILLS. The successful candidate will ideally be a full BENGOSHI previously at at Japanese firm or be a similar counsel within a GLOBAL INVESTMENT BANK. Both domestic and cross-border legal specialists will be considered and interviewed quickly. Candidates with DIRECT BANK, SECURITIES or similar FINANCIAL SERVICES legal work experience of 5 or more? years will be short listed and interviewed quickly. Japanese graduates with US/UK/AUS based JD degree or legal experience are targeted talent pools. TOP PACKAGE.
