Experienced IT Systems Engineer is now needed to provide support and maintenance of all IT systems. The candidate will assist the expansion of trading room activities in a fast-paced financial environment. The position will require substantial liaison with technical staff in other IT offices and participation in company-wide infrastructure initiatives. As a senior member of the technical team, the candidate will be expected to provide support training for operational staff across a broad range of subjects. The candidate should have hands-on experience of the installation and troubleshooting of applications and systems software, servers, desktops, peripherals, routers, hubs, firewall, and other WAN hardware; network design and capacity planning skills etc. Strong project management skills are essential along with excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to manage his/her time effectively. Exposure to any derivatives products of any kind will be seen as a strong advantage to be short listed for this role.
