Global firm is now seeking a JUNIOR JAPAN ACTUARY for corporate finance or investment banking transactions within FX, Debt or Equity linked structured products within JAPAN. This role will identify and develop new actuary driven opportunities. Additional responsibilities will include (re-) structuring complex financial products to meet regulatory requirements in the local jurisdiction.Interaction with the other members of the trading team,investment banks and with the bank's corporate relationship management. Japan based actuary professional qualifications (IAJ) are expected and a good understanding of financial products. Any recent experience with an accounting firm and professional certification (CFA/ CMA/ CPA/ CIA) is VERY desirable. The candidate MUST be fluent in both written/spoken JAPANESE and basic ENGLISH to effectively communicate with US/UK dealing colleagues, and management.
