Global hedge fund is expanding its proprietary trading team due to increased capital in its Foreign Exchange & Interest Rate products team. Your background should be 2+ year track records of prop trading cash & derivatives is needed. FX & Fixed Income Rates out to 10-30 year bond tenors would be excellent. Debt themed cross-asset class background is possible. US fed, UK Gilts, Euro Bond and Yuan views on interest rate increases and market impact views are essential. Japanese or English is enough to coordinate. Risk sensitive, trading oriented and driven with a strong track record of proprietary trading. Discipline on downside risk is very important. A sharpe Ratio of 2 or better would be a strong indicator. This is a wide product environment of trading ideas. ETF or other kinds of emergin markets products can be os high interest. Strong preference for Tokyo, Hong Kong or Singapore experienced FX, IR Swaps, Futures & Options, Global Macro, Emerging Market traders.
