Senior TAX STRUCTURER is now needed for accounting transactions including Fixed Income, Corporate Finance Treasury or Equity linked products within JAPAN & ASIA. This role will identify and develop new tax and accounting driven product opportunities. Additional responsibilities will include (re-) structuring complex financial products to meet regulatory requirements in the local jurisdiction.Interaction with the other members of the derivatives team,investment banks and with the bank's corporate relationship management. Customers will include both corporates and financial institutions in the region. At least four years relevant experience of handling tax and accounting driven transactions.Tax and/or Accounting professional qualifications are expected with a strong track record and a wide good understanding of financial derivative products. This role will need to articulate complex solutions, so strong marketing skills for client presentations and pitching. Top-tier candidates must be able to handle multi-tasks, and adept at making decisions with senior management. Very strong PC skills (Microsoft Word, Excel type modeling) are very positive. Any recent experience with an accounting firm and professional certification (CFA/ CMA/ CPA/ CIA) is VERY desirable. The candidate MUST be fluent in both written/spoken ENGLISH to effectively communicate with US/UK dealing colleagues, and management. JAPANESE will be a very strong complimentary language.
