Top European House requires a experienced Regional Risk Management Head. The ideal candidate will have a background within the Credit or Operational risks, RM tries to cover all of it and have mixed Japanese or international work experience. Probably Tokyo based though HK is a possibility. Either way the role will require some travel between HK and Tokyo.
This role must bring a good understanding of equity derivatives and must READ and SPEAK fluent JAPANESE. The person will be the only member of independent Risk Management in the HK-Japan time zone. Therefore the winning candidate will need to have the confidence and ability to work independently, show initiative and make decisions. Clear communication skills are also vital. The role will also need to get deeply involved in data integrity, trade proposals, risk reviews, and valuations.
