investment bank is now looking for a world class HEAD
OF SALES & TRADING to expand the Japan branch P/L. This
is a top package worth US$3Million in base pay and stock
options with a multi year guaranteed contract! Our client
is now expanding coverage of its Fixed Income, Equity,
FX, Credit and Derivatives customer bases in Japan and
Asia. This exciting new role will be part of a growing
sales and trading expansion. The most attractive candidates
will have a strong background within various derivative
products covering corporates, or institutional clients
in both Tokyo and key Asian centers. Strong presentation
skills to expand trading profits from various product
groups, is very important. A key goal of this new position
is to act as a conduit for multi product synergy creating
more successful plus alfa effects in P/L. This will require
a clear understanding of Japanese and Asian client needs
and concerns. Any directly similar equity derivatives
exposure will be ranked very highly. Strong Structured
Credit (Ensemble/Scrum finding), Duals/Reverse Duals,
Caps/Floors, Synthetic loan products(credit/equity), Baskets,
Single-stock, or Index trade understanding (S&P, Nikkei
225, NASDAQ, Hang Seng, TOPIX) and Securitization will
also be of top interest. Middle office understanding of
the settlement process will also be of great value in
this role as this operation will be growing quickly and
a wide skill set will be productive. This is the perfect
