WORK ROLE: Project management,
provide senior technical guidance on any range of issues,
supervision of production support, 2nd level problem resolution,
manage trouble tickets / problem tracking, system performance
/ monitoring / reporting, provide operational programming,
support and process analysis, help provide technical training
for operational staff. Potential to supervise/manage systems
staff in Tokyo office in the future.
QUALIFICATIONS:
3-5 Years of technical experience in a large production
environment that includes Unix (Solaris) and NT operating
systems. Experience should include Change Control, Resource
Management and Problem Resolution. Must have solid Hardware
/ Software technical background including extensive Sun,
Cisco and PC experience. Team Leader skills along with
Project/Process Management skills.
Ability to work in a fast paced, progressive environment
and handle sensitive situations as required.
DUTIES: Excellent employee / team motivation and development
skills, strong English/Japanese verbal and written communication
skills. Strong technical writing, desktop application,
and leadership / coaching skills are also needed. 7 x
24 on call duties for Data center will be needed plus
possible travel to London, Hong Kong, and New York branches. |
