Multi-national global law firm is now looking for a legal Japan team for a expanding private equity & hedge fund group. A US/ CAN / European / UK attorney would help drive cross border transactions in the region to work directly with M&A /IBD, capital markets & banking transactions. Multi-jurisdictions require professionals that can wear many hats. Candidates with English and or Japanese working at a similar firm is optimal. This has partnership as possible step within the firm as there is amazing pan-asia growth currently.Japan, Asia, China, India, NZ and Australia will be prime areas of focus on a daily basis with various transactions being a theme for the next cycle of 3-5 years. This role may start in New York and move to Tokyo / Hong Kong.
