Multi-national global law firm is now looking for a legal Japan team for an expanding private equity & hedge fund group. This bengoshi or UK / US lawyer would help drive cross border transactions in the region to work directly with hedge fund, real estate and private equity firms. multi-jurisdictions require professionals that can wear many hats. Candidates with English and or Japanese working at a similar firm is optimal. This has partnership as a possible step within the firm as there is amazing Pan-Asia growth currently. Japan, Asia, China, India, NZ and Australia will be prime areas of focus on a daily basis with various transactions being a theme for the next cycle of 3-5 years. The more familiar with the region and its markets, the better.
